Barring the non reachability of the operator, the trip was a pleasant one with one of the finest guides with us. Operator needs to be more proactive after the trip is booked and confirmed and their phone lines need to be reachable

An excellent whistle stop introduction to Dubai

The tour took the best part of three hours or so and our driver was very knowledgeable of Dubai, and was flexible in terms of pick up and drop off. The air conditioned car was very welcome during our private tour, and we had sufficient time to take photographs at key points. The option to take a boat taxi to the markets was also welcomed. Only part I didn’t enjoy was the markets where the stall holders were quite forceful, as to be expected

The best way to see all parts of Dubai in a short time

I can’t believe how much we did with Shajahan on this half day tour. He was kind, helpful, had incredible knowledge. We learnt so much about the different parts of Dubai. We loved how he knew all the best places to take great photos and then joined us on the river taxi to the gold and spice souk too. If you are short of time then definitely do this half day tour, you won’t regret it! Thank you Shajahan for an unforgettable introduction to Dubai ❤️

A Great Overview of Dubai

My guide was Shajahan (aka Shah) and he was excellent. He has lived in Dubai almost 20 years and knows the city very well. We drove all over, stopping for photo along the way. We walked through the Spice Souk and the Gold Souk, took a water taxi, went to the Dubai marina, to the end of Palm Jumeirah, and point in between. The tour started from my hotel in Business Bay around 2 pm and we returned around 7 pm. The only negative was driving through the late-afternoon traffic in Dubai, but that was not fault of Shah. This was not inexpensive, but the schedule was right for me and I feel the value was good. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a 1/2 day tour in the afternoon

Tour description was good but driver tried best to cut short it. Many things could not be covered because driver took busy route

Great afternoon in Dubai

Our driver Shajahan was excellent he was so knowledgeable and interesting. He spoke great English and made our day enjoyable. He was flexible as we had already seen the Burj Khalifa I can’t recommend home enough. Great driver and super clean vehicle Also. Ask for Shajahan!!!

Waste of time

Seemed to be dropped of quite far from each location we wanted to see. Driver misunderstood the instructions for one of our bookings which made us late and have to work hard to avoid cancellation - overall little useful information provided - better off using a street taxi

Taxi service

Nothing in our experience matched the itinerary advertised. None of the advertised stops occurred, many places of interest weren't visited and short stops occurred in spots of little interest not connected to the itinerary. The driver was friendly and helpful but knew little of Dubai being a temporary resident himself. A request for part refund was denied

お正月明けにエミレーツのトランジット中に午後2時から4時間お世話になりました。ガイドさんのSHAさんはフレンドリーで知識も豊富。どこを回るかの相談もでき、ツアーの最後のドバイモールで降ろしてもらう事にしたので、午後6時からの噴水ショーやショッピングを時間を気にせず楽しんだ後、そこからは自分でタクシーでホテルへ戻りました。 個人的に1番良かったのはアブラという船から昔ながらのアラビアンナイトのような景色を楽しめた事です。(これはツアー代に入っていないので、一隻貸切片道20ディルハム(約800円x往復)で40ディルハムの現金を用意しておいてください。(時間や快適さの観点から船は貸切。個人で行けばもっと安く船に乗れるでしょうが、列に並び時間を取られる ますし、その船はスークの真ん前には泊まらないです)。船着場にATMもあるので、海外キャッシングも可能。 初めてのドバイで20時間しかなかったので、このツアーでなければ、こんなにも安心して効率よく色々なフォトストップで写真を撮れなかったと思います。 とてもお勧めです。 ありがとうございました♪

The tour operator did not show up saying he missed it even if I had the voucher and confirmation, this never happened to me before with viator

Being taken to all the sights and seeing everything about Dubai. The guide was very professional nothing was a too much trouble. Our guide was very informative. Very poor tour. First of all, in the tour description you see that "English Speaking Licensed Tour guide" is included. But it is not! Only car driver included, but you haven't received any interesting fact about the places that you'll visit, only photo stops. Honestly, to take only a car driver will be cheaper. Second point, you don't have structured program. Your driver ask you every time what can we visit, and you have to decide, but come on! I bought a tour, I hope that everything is decided and I will just enjoy my day. And the last point - your driver suggest to drive to places, where you have to pay for entrance tickets. Seems that where are no free places to visit

A very good experience

This is a private four hour tour that allows to visit and to learn about Dubai. It is worth it. My guide, Muhammed Ashram was simply excellent. He is knowledgeable and eager to adapt to your needs and interests. I very much enjoyed the tour.Amazing

Discovering Dubai: Tailored Adventures with My Son

Visiting Dubai was an absolute dream for my son and me, and getting to explore it together was delightful! Though the city is stunning with so much to see, the scorching weather and limitations on walkable distances posed a bit of a challenge for us. Fortunately, engaging in a half-day tour program allowed us to explore all the places we’d been longing to see, which was incredibly convenient and enjoyable. From the beaches and traditional markets to the contrast of old and new areas in Dubai and so much more, we fully immersed ourselves in the city's beauty on our last day there. Particularly, the service which allowed us to be picked up and dropped off at our desired locations was top-notch. The flexibility to tailor our own program and visit places we wished was so accommodating. We also appreciated the considerate gestures like slowing down the car to let us take ample photos and kindly rolling down the windows for us to have a better view. The thoughtful care shown to ensure we could sightsee comfortably was truly heartwarming

Great experience for first time visitors.

We had an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable and it was a great way to see Dubai for the first time. We squeezed in as much as we could in our 4 hours and got some great photos. We had a nice air conditioned vehicle to travel in, as it was very hot. We would highly recommend this tour

A perfect Dubai highlights tour....

I only had one day in Dubai and I wanted a private half-day tour visiting many of the typical landmarks and features of Dubai. I preferred a private tour so I could linger at any stop I was really enjoying and indeed I was in control of the pacing! Shajahan was also the most perfect driver and guide. He has lived in Dubai for 15 years and he fielded all of my questions with precision. His knowledge of the area is substantial - architecture, history, government - pretty much everything! We had a lovely air conditioned van and he navigated the in progress "sandstorm" safely and with a plan. I especially enjoyed riding an abra (water taxi) across the Dubai Creek to the spice and gold souks (markets). We probably spent more time in the Dubai Mall than usual, but given the sandstorm outside it did provide us with some relief and that Mall was amazing with some of its own beauty, history and features (ice rink, waterfalls and huge aquarium). I am a Canadian, and he even found a Tim Horton's for me to have a coffee. Indeed, the city is very international. We visited the Palm Jameirah, went to the base of the Burj Khalifa, and viewed the Za'abeel Palace from the closest position allowed. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of the popular sites in our 4 hours together. This tour was exactly what I was hoping for --- thanks so much Viator and guide Shajahan Abdul Azeez. You are the best!

Informative and interesting, highly recommend

Our guide was so informative, he explained about the history and described current life in Dubai, we learnt so much. He allowed time for us to take photos and we gained a huge appreciation of Dubai as a city and as part of the UAE

Extremely informative guide! We managed to tweak the format and change the order that of sights we would see to fit in better with my schedule once the tour ended. Managed to see many of the main points of interest in Dubai within the few hours of the tour, ofcourse if you want longer in each a separate tour should be considered. this is more a "quick intro"

Absolutely amazing!

Shajahan is so friendly. As we went around, he explained everything giving us historical facts. He took us everywhere and patiently waited for us as we went shopping - he even helped us haggle to get cheaper prices on clothes! I totally recommend him! He is the BEST tour guide I’ve ever had!

Very good sneak leak of Dubai (during transit) !!!1VijayarajaK, July 2019Had 4 hours transit trip. Got pick up and dropped at hotel. Over all took around 4 hours. Shajahan driver was approachable via WhatsApp even before my travel, explained the history and current development in each places. Would recommend the trip and driver for anyone who has transit in Dubai. Value for money and great sneak peak of Dubai. Family enjoyed the trip too (except the weather). Was not able to do much of outdoor or long walk, but managed to good family pic in all the key places. I will look forward to make a longer trip during winter soon

Interesting way to have an overview of the city and its main landmark

The tour consist of showing the old palace of the Sultan, a visit of Jumeira beach, the Bhuj hotel from afar, and finally going through interesting places in Dubai. It's a great way to plan what to visit from there as the guide gives you an insight on the interesting places, fun places like the Atlantis waterpark and also the lives of the people living in Dubai..
